Petrow Food Group today operates from its main manufacturing site in Haverhill, and its London-based operation in Perivale. Privately owned, Petrow Food Group’s Haverhill site, is strictly a peanut-free operation, whilst the Perivale site handles allergens including peanuts within segregated areas.

Petrow Food Group operates from two sites

Haverhill, Suffolk

Spitalfields House, Phoenix Road, Haverhill CB9 7AE

Petrow Food Group invested more than £4 million in a 7.2 acre site with an 80,000 sq. ft. factory and warehouse facility at Haverhill, Suffolk, in 2014. The facility was previously purpose built for handling food ingredients.

The facility includes its own warehouse with a capacity of 2,100 spaces.

Processing Facilities

The Haverhill site processes dried fruit, coconut, date and nut products in a peanut free site to meet the requirements of a growing list of clients in the UK and overseas.

Operations include the processing and roasting of nuts and seeds, and the chopping, nibbing and slicing, grinding, pasting and milling of nuts, dried fruits and dates, as well as the processing of coconut into various forms.

Perivale, West London

Our 14,000 sq. ft site in Perivale, West London was acquired by Petrow Food Group in 2010.

This allergen-controlled site equipped with packing machinery which provides the flexibility for small to large production runs of ambient dried fruits and nuts. Product can be blended, mixed and packed into pillow packs, quadro packs, block bottom packs as well as plain and printed sachets and shots.

Multi-Head Weighing Machine, Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) Packaging Machine.

Two lines feature multi-head weighing machines feeding packing machines, packing dry granular food products weighing anything from 5gms to 3 kilos.
Products packed include peanuts, seeds, rice, pulses and snacks. The format of these is either pillow packs, block bottom packs and quadro packs, and they can be packed into shelf ready or standard cartons.
